Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 313 - You're Too Weak

Looking through all kinds of mana heart awakenings was more confusing than Shane had expected it to be.

Even more so, when he had only one highly discounted purchase left!

The awakening for 80 million gold coins was obviously much better than the common one at 40 million gold coins, but Shane began to ponder about something else.

\'If I were to accumulate even more gold coins, the mana heart awakening would be even better… Going forward, the Hidden Paradise has to sustain itself consistently through the mana generated by the mana heart.\'

With that thought in mind, Shane wanted to purchase a mana heart awakening that would allow his planet, which could reach the size of 40,000 kilometers in diameter, to sustain itself and everything on it, with the mana it created.

This would allow him to store mana from the outside without the need to bother about his world withering if he were to face a dearth of mana!

As such, he should be able to store inside the Hidden Paradise so that he could utilize it without making use of the reserves that had to be put aside for other purposes

Unfortunately, this was easier said than done because the mana heart awakenings didn\'t label themselves as \'I can sustain a planet with the size of 40,000 in diameters! In addition to every object and living beings inhabiting the planet.\'.

This would be way too easy and Shane was fully aware of the same..

However, before Shane could continue skimming through the list of possible mana awakenings, he saw that he and the three girls had arrived in front of the Dimension Portal.

Less than half an hour later, they saw themselves standing in front of a small arena after emerging in Libra city, Igra\'s capital.

Shane thought that the building complex in front of him looked inconspicuous, yet, the mana fluctuations radiating from the materials out of which the building was constructed were sturdy and intertwined with a calming sensation.

Since Igra had undergone its mana awakening many things had changed. While non-combatant occupations were slowly becoming more popular despite most people\'s apparent hate against them, the required level of technological advancement would still take its time.

It was already interesting enough to see that there were a few farms being established by cultivators with farming occupations, yet, the government\'s artisan organization had more issues advertising themselves than expected.

This was something that surprised Shane because most artisan-oriented occupations were currently trying to find their worth.

His Astral Starlight faction was currently being indirectly advertised by both the constructed shelter and the gigantic Guild house standing behind the first wall of defense of the RadiantRing shelter.

Most merchants and citizens had yet to return to the RadiantRing shelter, but after the government had shared the system\'s distinct report about the shelter\'s safety, most citizens were slowly learning to let go of their anxiety of facing a beast tide again and being defenseless.

The RadiantRing shelter had almost been destroyed, and another time almost completely conquered.

As such it was only obvious that everyone was still a little doubtful.

However, the new shelter was a fortress compared to the puny shelter it had been before!

This excited everyone because most people hadn\'t seen such a highly defensive shelter in their entire life.

With that in mind, most people shared their insights about the shelter and its popularity rose, turning it into a hot topic of discussion.

At the same time, the popularity of the shelter\'s construction crew rose concurrently, while the Starlight guild house was one of the first houses to be built inside the shelter.

Talia had told him that there were many applicants willing to work with the Astral Artisans and even the Starlight guild had received many applications despite its harsh selection criteria!

All of that was important for the future, yet Shane couldn\'t help but feel that everything was about to become more complex than he had initially thought.

Nevertheless, the most important thing he had to solve for now was to overcome the trials in order to attend the basic race gathering.

He knew that his strength was not at par with the others who would attend the meeting, but Shane was confident to come around by utilizing a few petty tricks.

As such, he followed Aisha, Miriam, and Frer inside the building, whose interior was bigger than Shane had expected.

The entrance hall was long enough for Umbra to feel comfortable inside, yet, instead of sparing a second to marvel at the hall, he had to rush after the three young women.

They were way too impatient in his opinion, but it was not like he wanted to be too late either!

Thus he followed them with long strides before he fell in steps next to them.

Even though all three of them had a mana purity above 90% and great occupations, Shane couldn\'t help but think that they were sometimes a little bit intimidated by the sheer amount of mana he could control!

With this thought, he could be confident enough to say that he was able to overcome a small difference in his mana purity compared to others!

Furthermore, his physique should be at par with almost everyone present! By purifying one\'s mana, the physical strength could increase slowly.

Nevertheless, this was incomparable to a perfect refinement!

As such, Shane\'s physical strength of two completely perfectly refined stages and one half perfectly refined physique should be enough to cope with most youths who had a mana purity at 85%!

This might be exaggerated, but Shane didn\'t even bother comparing himself to people like that.

The only comparison he accepted were Aisha, Frer, and Miriam, who were still stronger than he was alone!

As they walked through the hallway, the three girls were gossiping with each other, while throwing furtive glances at him once in a while in order to see whether he was interested in their gossip or not.

Yet, instead of listening to them, Shane was taking a look at the Hidden Paradise and how everything was coming along.

Everyone was becoming more proficient in their work and it wouldn\'t be long before the first batch of high-grade and quality tools would be designed!

Other than that, everyone was improving, while the Nightshade flower roots were also being carefully nurtured.

As long as nothing went wrong, everything would consistently improve and the funds he would earn would increase as well!

With that in mind, it was possible to hire more Artisans soon, while the Starlight guild required new warriors too.

It was not long before Shane and the girls entered the next large hall in which Shane could see more than a hundred young men and women. They had all gathered in front of one of the higher authorities Shane was not acquaintanced with.

He had seen the middle-aged man with a short brown beard and short hair once or twice, but that was it.

The man was standing in the front, taking a look at the status panels of everyone present. He also scanned through everyone\'s body individually in order to compare the status to one\'s strength.

This entire process caused Shane to squint his eyes.

He thought that this might be a little over the top.

"Shouldn\'t sparring with each other determine who is strong and who isn\'t? Why is he bothering about scanning everyone\'s body and looking at the status panel?"

Shane had been mumbling to himself, but Miriam, who\'d heard him answered,

"This is Commander Nuyra. He is known for sorting out \'trash\' from the well-groomed seedlings."

Seemingly unbothered by this piece of information, Shane nodded his head as he replied,

"In that case, I\'m trash!"

Less than five minutes had passed before it was their turn, yet, instead of scanning through everyone, Commander Nuyra allowed Miriam, Aisha, and Frer to go through.

Apparently, their reputation and strength were well known, and only Shane was left behind.

Thus, he sighed and wanted to show Commander Nuyra his status panel when Shane\'s body had already been scanned through.

"Your mana fluctuations are too impure...have you even reached the mana purity of 70%? You\'re too weak! Leave on your own, or I will make you!!"
